Sparky,
Is it possible to color the tickets based on a custom field?  I created a column for severity; High, Medium, Low.  Is it possible to have the tickets colored to match these statuses?

Thanks,

egg

What version of TTX do  you have ..... as of v3.00 ...i think its available ....

3.00 (11/22/08)
New features:
- New ticket state - "On hold"
- Using colors to mark ticket status in ticket browser
- Color scheme section in Setup form (setup.cgi)
- Annotate and Print options in ticket view. Attached images are shown inline in Print view (requires Image::Size module)
- Carbon Copy: a custom field may be designated to keep a list of email addresses. Each customer side email message will be copied to the list.
- Time tracking: a custom field may be designated to keep total work time your operators spent for answering a ticket.
- wrapping long lines in messages
- automatic recognition and markup of commonly used URLs in messages
- persistent smtp connection - greatly reduces delays when sending email via smtp server

Hi, thanks for the response.  I am running 3.01.  I see where I can color code the ticket browser and ticket form.  I dont see that I can color code the custom fields section.  Am I just not seeing it?

Thanks,

Hi Egg,

Sorry ... I should read you post more carefully .... my apologizes ... I take it that you have layout module for version 3.0 .... I don't use v3 ... but my guess would be to look in that code ... or ask Alex Smiley

Sorry I couldn't be of much help ....

Yes, I was doing this myself for a time.  It requires some tweaking of the HTML generated within the Perl.

This needs to be in the Modifications forum.  Also you can search the list of Modifications sticky for something similar.

Did you update the paths in ttxcfg.cgi after moving TTX to your new location?   Undecided
