Has anyone gotten this mod to work in 3.0? I'm having a little trouble. The CC address ends up in the e-mail (can be seen in the CC field of the e-mail that was delivered to the To: address), but it doesn't get delivered to the CC address. I used the SMTP trace log and below is what I'm seeing...

Net::SMTP=GLOB(0x1dbdf14)>>> MAIL FROM:<IT.Support@FakeDomain.com>
Net::SMTP=GLOB(0x1dbdf14)<<< 250 2.1.0 IT.Support@FakeDomain.com....Sender OK
Net::SMTP=GLOB(0x1dbdf14)>>> RCPT TO:<IT.Department@FakeDomain.com>
Net::SMTP=GLOB(0x1dbdf14)<<< 250 2.1.5 IT.Department@FakeDomain.com

Net::SMTP=GLOB(0x1dbdf14)<<< 354 Start mail input; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF>
Net::SMTP=GLOB(0x1dbdf14)>>> To: IT.Department@FakeDomain.com
Net::SMTP=GLOB(0x1dbdf14)>>> Cc: user@AnotherFakeDomain.com
Net::SMTP=GLOB(0x1dbdf14)>>> From: "_IT Support" <IT.Support@FakeDomain.com>

Any ideas?

I'm sorry you're having problems...  a few things...

1.  I split this out into a new topic, because it really has nothing to do with the MOD.  (check out the Read Me sticky)

2.  If you're actually seeing an email come through and it has a Cc: address, then there's nothing wrong AFAIK inside TTX or even your server.  TTX only constructs the document and pushes it out through your server's sendmail.  Perhaps this is an issue with the recipient's mailbox?  I assume you've already tried other email addresses for the Cc:?

3.  I'm good with TTX, Perl and the TTX Modifications but I'm not really a server expert.  Perhaps send a Ticket to Alex at his helpdesk just to be sure.

4.  TTX v 3.0 has a Cc: option available.  If you have the optional Layout Designer module, you can try with that and see if you get the same result.  Though I would expect so.

Did you update the paths in ttxcfg.cgi after moving TTX to your new location?   Undecided
To those seeking help.... please report back when you figure it out.  Cheesy

I haven't had the chance to look further into this issue. The SMTP server I'm using is an Exchange 2003 Server, if that makes a difference.

I am aware that there is a CC option in 3.0 and I'm using it to notify operators when a ticket is updated.

I will try opening a ticket with Alex.
