Just wondering,

If and when I decide to upgrade to to the latest version of ttx.  Will the current additional fields module work?

Thank you in advance,

Arv

There is no such module. I assume you refer to addfields script. The script modifies data structures and does nothing else. The 3.x will continue to work with modified data. Doing full backup or vm snapshot prior to upgrade is highly recommended though - the addfields is not officially supported.

Hi Arvin.
I think my question is related to this.
Are you found anyway to get additional custom fields? (more than from c0 to c9).

I have a running over 2 years a 2.24.431 ttx version with MySQL and Group modules.

I´m applying some mods to get more functionality to my customer needs.
One of them requires more custom fields to collect more information, then now I´m trapped by the 10 customfields capacity of the system.
I've tried some mods at ttxcfg.cgi and ttxconfig.pm; even I can get displayed my 3 additional custom fields names and select item listings (c10 to c12) in the ticket editor pop-up window, but cannot get to create & populate these data on the database.
Even I created manually "c10" column directly at the MySQL database, but it not works (not populate data from ticekteditor).
Please help me if you can.
Thanks in advance.   Sorry my bad english.

BTW:  Where is the "additional fields module" (in vers. 2.24.431)?

Andrés.

Not from me, I add extra fields the hard way... manually mod'ing the code.

Did you update the paths in ttxcfg.cgi after moving TTX to your new location?   Undecided
