maximum of allowed users

Hi,
does anyone know the maximum number of allowed users in the flat file database.
I've tried a test with over 200 users and the system is quite slow
How many groups can be created at most?
Thanks
Andreas

I do not believe that it takes noticeable time to parse 200 records (unless you have 10 years old Celeron web server). But it may take considerable time to send two hundred notification emails on new ticket submission. But it does not depend however on database backend. You may try to speedup notifications by configuring your mail server to use asynchronous delivery mode.

Sorry Alex,
I have not asked the question correctly.
Creating new user takes a long time if many users and groups exist.
I fear that the script aborts with a timeout if it takes too long.
Is it planned to integrate user table in MySQL?
Thank you

No, there are no plans to transfer user database into MySQL/SQL Server backend.
