I just downloaded TTX and uploaded it to my server at Webintellects in Vista, California. Using your instructions it worked great the first time I tried it. Fantastic! I'm so proud, I've never worked with a Linux server before.
Tomorrow I will try to integrate TTX with one of my sites.
Thanks a lot for such a well-documented and simple setup!

Yes, TTX is perfect for super busy people who dont have time to read a lot of set up manuals. I was suprised at how fast I rolled it out into production.

I am very pleased, and the price was right!

Actually, even after buying nearly all the add-on modules, I still spent less on TTX than I do for one hour of consultant time.

I've now purchased the mailbox and pop2pipe modules and implemented them. There was a Perl configuration error that my ISP fixed for me. Also, the documentation says you should use "perl mailbox.cgi -s" in pop2pipe only for Windows systems but I had to as well and I'm pretty certain I'm on a Linux server.

In order to run pop2pipe regularly I used Website-Watcher (www.aignes.com), a very useful tool that automatically monitors changes to web pages. In this case it just runs the pop2pipe script to poll the POP3 inbox every hour.

One thing that really impresses me is that once a ticket has been assigned to an operator, all the correspondence can take place using only e-mail - neither the user nor the operator ever need to login to TTX. But, since all e-mails pass through TTX, you get a very good log of the conversation taking place!

re. perl mailbox.cgi -s
I must admit the instructions are confusing. The perl part is applicable to Windows only, as by default ActivePerl setup does not associate perl.exe with *.cgi. The -s option is mandatory for both Linux and Windows.
