(%TICKETLIST%) is hogging space

First, I have to say I love this software!!
I'm in the process of adjusting the templates to fit my site and am stumped on the (%TICKETLIST%). I can't seem to get it to fit within a confined space. For some reason on the helpdesk screen the (%TICKETLIST%) is about 30px wider than the table above it which contains the entry form. I see that it's set to (%HTMLBASEWIDTH%) but that doesn't seem to do any good.
Second question. Is (%HTMLBASEWIDTH%) dependent on screen size? I'm trying to figure where this is set.
Thanks in advance.

Not quite sure if this is the best way to handle this but I shortened the email field by changing references in TTXDesk.pm of the width (previously 15) to 12. I also dropped the trailing '...' to '..'. If I'm going to run into trouble because of this could someone please advise.
Thanks,
Greg

Unfortunately you may not fit everything into a web page, as it has a limited length. To adjust HTMLBASEWIDTH value please edit config file. Look for the HTMLBASEWIDTH variable.
