Hi,

How can I change the color of the links that appear at the top of pages, like
Home | Tickets | Contact us | Login
at the top of http://www.unitedwebcoders.com/ttx/ttx.cgi?cmd=newticket&sid=&style=

I'm using a customized site with a darker background, and the default blue doesn't show up well.  I've hard-coded a couple, like "Home" and "Tickets", but I'd like to change all of them, including the "Reports" link that shows up on the HelpDesk (manager's) page.

Is there a place where all of them can be changed at once, or even each one individually?

Thanks!

I would suggest editing style sheet (header.shtml). Default values are

A       { color : #2E3197; text-decoration : none; }
A:Hover { color : #C00; text-decoration : underline;}

Hi Alex,

Thanks, but I tried that, and it doesn't work for me because it changes the color of the links on the whole page.  I have a dark page background (which is the background for the links at the top of the page) and a light background in the content area of the page, where any other links are.  No single color for a link shows up well against both.  Also, I would really prefer the links in the content area of the page to be the maroon color that matches the company logo, with white links at the top of the page.

Here's a snippet of the page so you can see what I mean:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/beutelratte/886039457/

I've hard-coded the links to Home,  Submit New Request, and Existing Requests so they appear in white.
But the link to Login and to "below" (on the lighter area of the page) are set by the style sheet.  It's fine in the lighter area of the page, but "Login" isn't visible.

So I'd like to know where I can hard-code the format for "Login" and for "Reports" (and any other links that appear at the top that I haven't discovered yet.)

Thanks!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

Alternatively, I can use the style sheet to set the color for the links at the top of the page, and then hard-code all of the other links on the page.  But then how would I change the color of the links to "first" , "prev", "next" and "last", which will be on a different color background?
For example, at
http://www.unitedwebcoders.com/ttx/ttx.cgi?cmd=login&login=oper1&passwd=demo&nextcmd=helpdesk&dologin=1

Thanks!

Never mind- I decided to "punt" and change the background color of that row of the header file.  Not quite as slick a look, but a whole lot easier to do!

Thanks for all of the help - this is a GREAT program!
