hello, how can i pull data from cutom fields via ODBC?
for example -
i have a clients table with a column for client name and client code, i created a custom field for CLIENTS: with a drop down menu, but instead of typing the clients name1;clients name2 in the "Values", i would like to pull the info from my SQL table.
i would also like to include the clinet code behind the scenes (or displayed whichever) with the selection.

there is a short remark in the Custom fields section about leading x and variables, but its very general.

i have all modules installed (including sql).
