It seems most people do not understand to update the ticket via the link in the email. I would like to add "do not reply to this email" in the email response that they receive. How can I do this?

Thanks

Just edit newticket.txt and newmessage.txt templates. But do not expect your customers paying attention to such a notice. Anything that came through email may be responded via email. Removing the message text itself (the (%MESSAGE%) macro) will yield better results. However the best approach would be to enable email based submission (see Mail Module).

Hi thanks for your help. I'm not sure I follow you on this though: "Removing the message text itself (the (%MESSAGE%) macro) will yield better results."

Can you explain?  Thanks again!!

Ahh, I see what you mean. I removed the (message) so that users have to click the link. I also did a DO NOT REPLY in there as well. We'll see how that goes. Thanks again.
