Hello Tasard,
Yes you can use TTX with echange mail server.
The exhange server mailbox must have pop3 and smtp enabled.
You can request the administrator of the exhange to check this for you.

You then use the pop2pipe to retreive the emails from the server.

1. Version of TTX =  3.0.1
2. MySQL DB
3. Linux RHEL AS4 OS, Apache,
4. Optional Modules: ttxalib223, ttxexport30, ttxgroups30, ttxlayout30, ttxfile301
5  Modification : Enable Group Mode checked, Access control checked, Hide operators checked.

Hi, In TTX can we enable the escalations feature. Like if some operator is taking more than 2-3 hours/days (should be configurable) to respond a ticket which is assigned to him, a auto generated email sent to his supervise or TTX Admin(should be configurable).

Thanks
Alok Singh

I tried searching for "mail module" and exchange but I couldn't find much of anything on the topic (I'm sure a lot of posts start like this). I understand that due to the myriad of options for mail that there is no actual installation/configuration manual for the mail module, but I was wondering if someone could tell me if they were able to install the mail module for email piping using exchange server?

I do not have access or rights to the exchange server that we are using so I was wondering is this required? And if so, is there an alternative such as "watching" a specific mailbox for any incoming messages? I need users to be able to submit tickets, but am not sure how to go about this.

Earlier we were unable to create more than 100 groups, so we have patched the TTXGroups.pm as suggested by Alex.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________
You may try patching TTXGroups.pm, replace all occurrences  of

\d\d?

with

\d+

Notice the question mark in pattern, it is important, as there is a line that contains \d\d without the mark and it must remain as it is. You should modify these 2 lines:

    @grplist = grep(/^group\d\d?$/, $cfg->vars());

    $g =~ /(\d\d?)/;

Please let me know if this solves the problem.

Sincerely,
Alex

Current issue:

After above patching we are able to create more than hundred groups, but now when we open a actual individual ticket and trying to assign the ticket to newly created group, the group is not listed in "Transfer to" Drop-down list.

Hi Alok,

We have done the same what Alex has suggested, now although we are able to create the groups, but not able to see these groups in the dropdown, hence not able to use the groups that we had created (101 onwards).

Regards
Tapan
